The Historic Shirley Hotel was first established in 1886 when Bethungra was a busy railway town. It is situated in the village of Bethungra on the Olympic Highway, 69 kilometres north of Wagga Wagga and 23 kilometres south of Cootamundra.
The Historic Shirley B & B boasts approximately 40 rooms. All rooms have unique, high and beautiful, decorative ceilings. There are 13 bedrooms for guests, several dining rooms, two lounge rooms, a function centre, a reception room, verandas on three sides of the hotel, store rooms and an owner's residence.
