Very comfortable, relaxed environment. Sat in dining area near open fire which was lovely on a cold, wet Sunday. Very good service. Polite, warm and welcoming. Quick to bring drinks, entree and dessert. Main course was a bit slow to come but definitely well worth the wait. The meal was delicious. Would happily go back there again. Highly recommend.
The Duck Inn has always been a great place to have a meal especially in the winter with the lovely fires and cosy rooms but it is now even better. The menu is excellent with lots of very yummy options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The meals were very, very yummy and great sizes. My black Angus steak was excellent and cooked perfect. I highly recommend the Duck Inn and look forward to eating there again soon. Still lots more on the menu I want to try. Thank you to lovely staff and chef. Excellent!!
I had mid week lunch with a mate and we enjoyed our meal. A typical schnitzel, chips and salad. I would say a typical pub meal. The surroundings were warm and spacious, with a good choice of wines and beers. The cost was above average for what we had. Coffee is available also.
