This hotel is no longer very good value, but is charming, with its post war Utility era furniture and large garden. Convenient for visiting academics. Staff helpful, and pay parking usually available.

Lovely hotel in quiet setting. Enjoyed my stay. Friendly helpful staff and spacious suite. Appreciated the heated bathroom floor!!!

Convenient location, ease of parking a bonus for Canberra/ANU. Rooms are a bit dreary due to historical authenticity, give the single rooms a miss but twin rooms are fine. Grounds are delightful. Very close to the Film and Sound Archive which is well worth a drop in. We also like the Cupping Room
